Senior Plant Engineer Ibex™ (m/w/d) EN Vollzeit

Key responsibilities:

• Implementation and improvement of the existing maintenance strategy in order to assure the plant’s requisite availability considering cost effectiveness
• Conception, preparation, and administration of feasibility and engineering studies, as well as projects, investments, and other operations
• Maintaining a production plant’s certification status (in terms of safety and cGMP)
• Establishing qualification during government inspections and customer audits
• Assisting production managers with engineering and maintenance-related issues
• Representation and assumption of delegated responsibilities from the IbexTM Head of Plant Engineering
• Consistently recording and maintaining information about functional locations, equipment, and spare parts, as well as spare part lists, instruction manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), among other things
• Monitoring of historical data and records in SAP and COMOS
• Authority (to issue directives) in the allocated operational area’s engineering and maintenance departments
• Jointly accountable for budget development and oversight (maintenance, change-over, lump sum projects and investments)
• Continuously improve internal processes and ensure innovation
• Team resource planning to assure plant availability and project completion (incl. feasibility and engineering)
• Training of the maintenance employee in terms of process and equipment expertise, as well as technical training in areas like as safety, cleanliness, environmental stewardship, and quality (cGMP)

Key requirements:

• Obtain a bachelor’s or a master’s degree (University for Applied Science, Technical University). Preferable field of study: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Biological Engineering
• Experience as a leader is required; independence and adaptability are required; strong team player; excellent communication skills are essential
• Several years of experience in GMP compliance and facility maintenance for pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
• Desirable COMOS and SAP knowledge
• Agile, creative, and highly motivated  with a structured, focused, and organized work style
• Communication and organizational abilities, self-motivation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving mindset are required
• Proficiency in verbal and writing German and English
