Bio-Engineering Technology Specialist (m/w/d) EN Vollzeit

Key responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge, technical experience, and state-of-the-art design to global microbial and mRNA capital projects to drive harmonization and best practice
• Create and maintain design standards for the global Bio-Engineering network in the areas of microbial USP and DSP, as well as the mRNA vaccines technology platform
• Actively engage in feasibility studies during the early stages of capital projects, from inception to detailed design
• Recognize, investigate, evaluate, and implement new technologies that have a significant impact on cost and/or time reduction or yield improvement
• Develop and sustain strong cross-functional collaborative effort with other locations and departments such as Manufacturing, MSAT, Automation, R&D, Engineering, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Health and Safety

  Key requirements:  

• Degree in Process-, Chemical-, or Biological Engineering, or a related field (f.e. Chemistry, Biology)
• Knowledge and experience with the planning and support processes (DSP, USP, etc.), preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong background with CAPEX project planning and execution
• Good comprehensive technical understanding, as well as knowledge of engineering, process, and/or utilities for pharma and biopharma plants (P&ID, URS, FATs, SATs…)
• German and English proficiency are essential
• High amounts of energy and a strong commitment to your work
